Watch the launch of our new jacket exhibit!

Missed the jacket launch?  No problem!

This past Saturday, May 15th, the 390th Memorial Museum launched our brand new jacket display.  The newly-conserved jackets are currently exhibited in custom-made cases that allow us to share them with our patrons while also protecting them from dust, excessive heat, humidity and light.  If you weren’t able to attend our launch, you can see the whole program here.

Curator Mae Casey walked patrons through the new exhibit including information on the history, symbols and artwork.  She also broke down some of the symbolism on the jackets themselves.  Please enjoy this presentation and KVOA’s coverage of the event!

P.S. Conservator Rachel Waters will be answering questions about her work with the jackets on Saturday, May 22nd at 12 PM Arizona time.  This is a members only event so if you’re not yet a member or your membership has lapsed, please visit our Join page!
