Nick Veronico’s presentation “Evolution of the B-17’s Tail Guns” is now available!

In December of 2020, Nick Veronico drove a fully-restored B-17 G tail turret from his home in California to our museum in Tucson, Arizona so we could display it on our floor.  We were so excited by this loan and even more ecstatic when Nick offered to share his carefully researched presentation on the changes made to the tail turret.

While about 45 people attended the Zoom, we know so many more were not able to make it.  Not to worry!  The presentation is now available.  We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.  The images he shared were some we’d never seen before and his expert commentary was thorough and fascinating.
